Day flight to Havana. Free days to explore Cuba’s capital.

Pick up your hire car and drive along the scenic Carretera Norte to Pinar del Rio province’s picturesque Vinales Valley where you will be based in a valley-side hotel.

Continue south through Vinales valley to Pinar del Rio town and then head east to this Biosphere Reserve for a 2 night stay in either Soroa Valley or the small community of Las Terrazas.

Skirt Havana and carry on along the autopista and through Santa Clara to Remedios for a night in one of Cuba’s earliest Spanish towns.

Return to Santa Clara and then strike out on winding mountain roads that descend through Topes de Collantes down to Trinidad and the Caribbean coast. Either stay in town to make the most of Trinidad’s lively night scene or relax on the golden sandy beaches of the Ancon peninsula.

Drive back along the coast towards Havana with an overnight in the busy Port town of Cienfuegos.
