ACTIVE DOMINICA
Featuring: Portsmouth, Roseau, Grand Bay
An action-packed itinerary that includes private excursions to some of the island’s most impressive sites. These activities demand a moderate level of fitness but you should be in fairly good physical shape and enjoy strenuous walking to undertake the hike to the Boiling Lake. You will be accompanied on all tours by a local guide.
Days 1 to 5 - Portsmouth
Fly from the UK to Dominica via either Antigua or Barbados. Transfer on arrival across the island to Portsmouth where you will stay in a beach front cottage.
Your stay here includes a row-boat tour of the Indian River followed by a hike to the spectacular Milton Waterfall. You will also have a guided walk along the Syndicate Nature Trail.
Days 6 to 9 - Roseau
Transfer south along the Caribbean coast to Dominica’s colourful little capital Roseau. Included from here is a tour of Ti Tou Gorge and Trafalgar Falls, a hike to the Boiling Lake and a visit to the Emerald Pool and the Carib Indian Village, one of the last Carib communities in the Caribbean.

Transfer to Grand Bay for a relaxing end to your trip at a delightful cliff-top inn with one last tour included to Victoria Falls, one of the islands most magnificent drops of water.
You will be transferred to the airport on departure for your overnight flight home.
