Plantation House
This charming stone guesthouse was built in 1908 and contains a museum that features artefacts from the early sugar cane industry. There are 13 rooms within the main house and annexe, some of which have balconies with spectacular views of the surrounding hills. The restaurant is well known on the island for its tasty local Creole dishes. There are quiet picturesque beaches in this little visited area of Grenada.
Our Opinion: An elegant base for exploring the lush green countryside.

La Sagesse Nature Centre/Beach Resort
The centre's 12 rooms, all just 30 feet from the beach, are housed in an old manor house and oceanfront buildings with verandas that look across the bay. Hiking trails lead over the headlands to adjacent snorkelling beaches. Knowledgeable local guides are available to accompany you on nature treks through rainforest to waterfalls. Sailing, fishing, diving and kayaking are available.
Our Opinion: Romantic hideaway perfect for both recreation and relaxation.

Petite Bacaye Cottages
There are 4 thatched-roof beach houses and a Honeymoon House looking out from a palm-fringed beach across the water to a tiny islet which is a bird sanctuary. Other accommodation is in the spacious Plantation House Suite or in the Spice House. Every room has a spectacular sea view to die for. The colourful reef, just a short distance from shore, is perfect for snorkelling. Freshly caught fish is supplied to the restaurant daily by local fishermen.
Our Opinion: Simple but very stylish rooms in a beautiful location.

La Luna
A low-key luxury property spilling down a forested hill-side onto a beautiful white sand beach. There are 16 one and two bedroom cottages of minimalist design, crafted from Indonesian materials with Italian flourishes. All have a private veranda and a plunge pool. The huge bedrooms are furnished with four poster Balinese beds and the very open design allows you to fully appreciate the beautiful bay. There is great attention to detail in each room.
Our Opinion: Very stylish boutique hotel in a gorgeous location.

Maca Bana
Maca Bana Villas occupy a tremendous location atop a bluff that offers sweeping views over Magazine Beach and up the south-west coast towards the picturesque capital of St. George’s and the hills beyond. The villas are all different and are individually designed and decorated to very high standards.
