Days 1-7 - Petit Bacaye

From airport transfer to Peti Bacaye for for 7 nights staying in a Beach Bungalow, located on a beautiful palm-fringed beach along Grenada’s south coast.

Accommodation consists of one and two bedroom cottages and a honeymoon house, all of which are thatched and have their own private, shaded verandahs that gaze out across springy, palm-dotted lawns to the beach.  There is also the large Plantation House Suite that is approached along an avenue of mature palm trees and the Spice House that stands right on the beach looking directly out to sea.

On arrival you are given a complimentary rum punch.  This is made on the premises.  We are told that it is one of the best on the island and so they now sell water bottles filled with the brew.   

Days 8-15 - Maca Bana

Maca Bana Villas occupy a tremendous location atop a bluff that offers sweeping views over Magazine Beach and up the south-west coast towards the picturesque capital of St. George’s and the hills beyond. You are just five minutes from Grand Anse Beach and fifteen minutes from St. George’s. The villas are all different and are individually designed and decorated to very high standards. Hardwood decks from the forests of Guyana are finished with twisted local Cedar balustrades and bamboo screens sheltering hammocks from the sea breeze. Set into these decks are private massaging hot tubs overlooking the ocean. Every villa is oriented to have sea views whilst also being set amidst lush gardens, planted for maximum privacy. Each villa is named for its surrounding flora and themed accordingly within, literally pick your fruit right from the tree! The garden’s tropical flowers and fruit trees attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bananaquits, white egrets and the occasional hawk. Herons live on the cliff-side and Pelicans visit annually every winter.
