Days 1 to 4 - Southern Grenada

Day flight to Grenada where you will be met and transferred to a comfortable beach hotel in the south of the island for a few days relaxation before heading off to explore.

Days 5 to 7 - Carriacou

You will be collected from your hotel and driven to the capital, St. George’s, to catch a boat to Carriacou. This is a great way of hopping between the islands offering fabulous views of Grenada’s forest-clad peaks from the sea. For those who lack sea legs it’s also possible to fly. You have the choice on Carriacou of either being based along the beach at Hillsborough (the main town) or we can arrange for you to stay at an ecological research station on a quiet forested ridge in the north-west of the island. You can involve yourself in the research work, if you wish. The full range of sights and activities available on Carriacou are easily accessed from either base.

Days 8 to 10 - Morne Fendue

Either fly (optional) or catch the ferry (included) back to the mainland where you will pick up your hire car and drive to the scenic northern parish of Saint Patrick. You will stay in a historical stone-built plantation house, a wonderful guesthouse with loads of character. From here you can explore the beaches, hills and valleys of this wild and beautiful corner of Grenada.

Days 11 to 14 - Southern Grenada

Return to the south coast to spend your final few days in a coastal hotel, inn or guesthouse. We suggest that you keep hold of the car as there is a huge amount to see and do on Grenada, if you manage to extricate yourself from the hammock. You should certainly aim to spend a day wandering the streets of St. George’s. Drop off the hire car at the airport before your overnight flight back to the UK.

Please bear in mind that we can adapt the above itinerary to suit. You may want transfers throughout or perhaps wish to spend a little more time on Carriacou or in the north of Grenada. There is a good selection of small hotels on Grenada to suit a range of budgets and tastes. Please feel free to fill us in on the kind of property that you prefer to stay in and we will suggest hotels that best suit your criteria.
