Si Como No
A small luxurious hotel with spacious apartment style rooms with balconies and views. Guestrooms have either a jungle or sea view and are situated in beautifully landscaped gardens with a wonderful swimming pool in the centre. The hotel is owned by an American film producer and has a small cinema. It makes an interesting base within the area and has an incredible variety of wildlife.

Tulemar Bungalows and Villas
These bungalows and villas are beautifully situated on the slopes leading to the coast, between Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park. All rooms are hexagonal shaped and are very spacious with huge wrap around windows. Enjoy the panoramic views over the ocean and the headland as well as the surrounding jungle. There is a lovely pool and a private beach.

Capitan Suizo
This hotel is the top spot in Tamarindo for the beach and is just 15 minutes walk from the village with its numerous restaurants. Rooms are spacious and airy and equipped to a high standard. The guestroomsand bungalows are surrounded by lush vegetation, with ocean views from the patios or balconies. Facilities include a large free form swimming pool set in beautiful grounds, an open air restaurant and bar.
Our Opinion: We think it's the best hotel in the area.

Villas Gaia
Hotel Villas Gaia is situated where the mountains come down to the sea in the region called Fila Costena, 35 kilometres south of Dominical, on the new coastal road. It offers a home base to experience the wild beauty of Costa Rica's southwest coast, one of the most biologically diverse regions on the earth. Explore Ballena Marine National Park, Caño Island Biological Reserve, Corcovado National Park and discover the other tropical beaches close by, where you can watch whales, dolphins and turtles.

Cristal Ballena Resort
This hotel has 19 fully equipped and spacious suites surrounded by 30 acres of garden situated on the side of a hill between the Pacific Ocean and rainforest. Each room has breathtaking ocean views, and the area offers a wide range of outdoor activities, there is a bar, restaurant and a pool.
Our Opinion: A great resort in a wonderful location.

El Milagro
El Milagro is situated just outside of the town of Tamarindo. Cabins are set in peaceful, landscaped grounds with an excellent poolside restaurant. Each cabin has a private bathroom with hot water and a small patio outside. The hotel is quite simple, but a reasonable choice if you are looking for a budget option. There is a beach just across the road and the main beach in Tamarindo is a 5-10 minute walk.
Our Opinion: A great option for relaxing on the beach.

Tango Mar Hotel
The Tango Mar Hotel is located on a 150-acre private beachfront reserve along the Nicoya Peninsula on the Pacific Coast. The hotel is small and exclusive and offers peace and beauty within its large private grounds. Rooms vary from extremely comfortable ocean front rooms with staggering views over the ocean and private cabins which are set back into the hillside and are fully equipped with a kitchenette and elegant furnishings.
