Days 1 to 3 - Antigua
Arrive in Guatemala City and transfer to Antigua where you will have a guided walking tour as an introduction to this volcano ringed colonial city. Optional volcano or mountain biking excursions can also be arranged.

Transfer by road to the highland town via Chichicastenango market (Sun and Thurs only). Optional excursions can be arranged in the area to nearby hot springs, San Andres Xecul to visit Guatemala’s most colourful church or pay a visit to Chicabal Volcano and crater lake.

Travel by road to Lake Atitlan where you will stay in a lakeside lodge. Enjoy a lake crossing and tour of the village of Santiago with guided walks around the slopes of the volcanoes.

Full day transfer/tour by road to the remote ruins of Quirigua. Take a boat along the Rio Dulce to Livingston. Optional tours to Chocon Machachas Manatee Reserve .

Travel to Flores where you will stay in your jungle lodge and have a guided tour of Tikal and Ceibal, arguably the most magnificent of all Mayan archaeological sites. Boxed lunches are provided.
