Hacienda San Lucas
This beautifully restored hacienda is located on the hillside overlooking Copan. A ten-minute bumpy journey outside of town, it oozes character and has truly magnificent views of the surrounding area. With only six simple guestrooms, it has a stylish living area with outdoor eating. It is also a great base for anyone who enjoys horse riding and for those looking for a real authentic and different experience.
Our Opinion: Not for everyone, but we love it!

Marina Copan
Situated just off the plaza in Copan town and only a few kilomentres from the entrance to the famous Mayan site, the colonial Marina Copan is probably the best hotel in town. With the flower filled courtyard and a swimming pool, it's a popular choice. Each room is air conditioned and has an en-suite shower and TV. There is also a very good restaurant, which is great value for money, a bar and a shop.
Our Opinion: Friendly staff go out of their way to make your stay special.

Holiday Inn San Pedro Sula
This is a modern international style hotel located in downtown San Pedro Sula just 6 miles form the international airport. The hotel has a tropical garden and faces on to the cities busy main plaza. It offers all the amenities one would expect from a Holiday Inn such as an outdoor pool, there are 128 good sized rooms with all the mod cons.
Our Opinion: A great location.

Lodge at Pico Bonito
This beautiful luxury lodge is nestled in between the Caribbean and the Nombre de Dios Mountains. With 200 acres of land, it has wonderful gardens, hiking trails and birdwatching opportunities as well as several more adventurous activities. Raised wooden walkways join the main lodge to the restaurant. The inviting pool and terrace has its own bar and a river deck overlooking the clear waters of the Rio Corinto.
Our Opinion: A really special place to stay.

Omega Jungle Lodge
Surrounded by the lush vegetation of the national parks of Pico Bonito and Nombre do Dios. There are numerous trails around the lodge offering great opportunities for birdwatching and other wildlife spotting. Tours will take you to visit impressive waterfalls in the area or simply relax and listen to the animals. As the lodge has no neighbours this is truly a relaxing place.
Our Opinion: A real rustic jungle experience.

Palmetto Bay
Palmetto Bay plantation is the ultimate destination for those seeking a tranquil beachfront getaway. It is part of an eco-sensitive privately owned residential development of approcimately 110 acres. Located right on a secluded white sand beach, it nestles into the verdant hills overlooking the turquoise waters of Roatan's north shore. The villas offer big balconies with sea views and hammocks.
Our Opinion: A good choice, to get away from it all.

Las Rocas
Las Rocas is tucked away in a secluded corner of Roatan's most beautiful and peaceful beach, West Bay. There are eight small, simple, woodern rooms all facing the ocean. Each room has its own balcony complete with hammock and deck chairs giving a great alternative for those wanting to get away from it all and relax on the palm fringed beach or explore the coral reef.
Our Opinion: A very peaceful and relaxing resort in a wonderful location.

Cesar Mariscos
This small family hotel is situated right on the beach in Tela. There are 10 rooms, 6 of which have a spectacular view of the sea which is only 10 steps away. All rooms are air conditioned, with hot water and cable T.V. The hotel has its own traditional family restaurant specialising in seafood. It is renowned as one of the best on the coast with all ingredients freshly prepared and fish caught fresh on the day!
Our Opinion: The food here is fantastic!
