Hacianda Temozon
This is the largest of the haciendas and is maybe the most impressive. Once a family run estate, it is a fine example of the prosperity generated in this area in the second half of the 19th century from sisal production. The First World War changed all this and vastly reduced the hacienda's wealth. It was finally confiscated in 1937 and left to ruin before it was brought and restored to its former glory.
