Coiba National Park is located in the Southwest of the Republic of Panama in the Pacific. This recently-declared national park is a part of the biological corridor of the Eastern Pacific which includes Galapagos Islands, Malpelo and Cocos Island. ITINERARY

Day 1

Fly to Panama - transfer from airport to Miramar Hotel.

Day 2

Santa Catalina - Early morning land transfer to Santa Catalina. Once you arrive in Sta. Catalina, you will have the rest of the afternoon to relax. Go for a relaxing stroll at the beach or take a refreshing swim at one of the beautiful beaches nearby. Dinner and overnight at Santa Catalina.

Day 3

Coiba National Park - Today after breakfast, we will take our boat to Coiba National Park. We will visit ANAM Station (Panama’s Environmental Protection Authority), and the marine museum. Our next destination will be the beautiful deserted islet known as “Granito de oro”. Experience the breathtaking landscapes of this unique area and the excellent snorkelling. Lunch is served at the islet and you will have the rest of the afternoon free to relax. Dinner and overnight at ANAM station.

Day 4

Hiking Monkey Trail and visit old prison – Early in the morning, we will hike this unique trail in Coiba. Howler monkeys, deer and scarlet macaws can be a common sight, and there are various endemic bird species as well. An optional addition to your day in Coiba is a visit to the former penal colony and visit what used to be the highest-security prison in Panama. We will have lunch at the ANAM station and take the boat back to Santa Catalina – Once in Santa Catalina we will have the rest of the afternoon free. Dinner and overnight in Santa Catalina.

Day 5

Leisure Day – Today you will have a free day to spend at your leisure. Optional activities include snorkelling, surfing, fishing, scuba diving and beach relaxation. Overnight in Santa Catalina.

Day 6

Transfer to Panama City – Today you will be transferred back to your Panama City hotel. Overnight in Panama City.

Day 7

Transfer to Tocumen International Airport for your flight back home.
