This has always been one of Magic’s favourite hotels and following the closure 16 months ago for a major repositioning and redevelopment, we are pleased to say the Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa will re-open for business on 28 September 2006. Situated on Penang’s popular Batu Feringghi beach, a highlight of the re-development is the addition of the CHI Spa Village, arguably the most stunning addition to the resort. It will be the first CHI Spa in Malaysia and also one of the region's most spacious spa environments complete with garden sanctum, yoga studio and 11 treatment villas. In the Rasa Wing, there are now 26 Deluxe rooms all situated on the ground level offering direct access to the pool and garden grounds. They all come with their own private garden area framed by wooden trellis and flowering plants. The exclusive Rasa Premier Rooms, come with marble-laid bath feature on the balcony. The Garden Wing Deluxe Rooms have also been upgraded. Other facilities now include a state-of-the-art Health Club, a Par 3 Executive Golf course, a 26-metre spa pool and seven innovative restaurants and bars.
