Day 1 - Santiago

Fly to Santiago and stay at Providencia Hotel.

Day 2 - Punta Arenas

Fly to Punta Arenas and transfer to hotel. Spend time exploring the town before your cruise.

Days 3-8 - Antarctic Fly And Cruise

In a little over three hours flying time from Punta Arenas in Chile you will arrive at King George Island in the South Shetland Archipelago entering an unforgettable world of snow and ice.

Here you will board your ship and spend the next six days navigating the staggeringly beautiful rugged shores of the South Shetland Islands and the neighbouring Antarctic Peninsula itself. Explore one of the most spectacular wildernesses on earth with the help of experienced guides and experts. Cruise along ice-filled fjords, through spectacular glacial channels experiencing trips ashore with the help of inflatable Zodiac boats. Marvel at the staggering icebergs in Paradise Harbour, pass through the stunning Lemaire Channel and visit the penguin rookery on Petermann Island before taking a dip in the thermal waters of Deception Island, the largest active volcano in the area.

On board you will enjoy informative lectures on the passing whales, seals, penguins and seabirds, as well as the company of your fellow passengers. Return to King George Island for your return flight to Punta Arenas and onward to the UK.

Day 9 - Punta Arenas

Return to Punta Arenas.

Day 10 - Santiago

Spend the night in Santiago before transferring to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
