Sail the unpredictable waters of the Drake Passage to the relatively sheltered waters around the peninsula’s coast. Cruise through a surreal landscape of islands boasting towering glacier-covered mountains and iceberg-strewn channels. All the while watch for basking seals, pods of whales searching for krill, penguins and a multitude of seabirds. You will never forget the silence and you will never forget the sounds…thousands of noisy penguins and then the boom of an iceberg as it hits the water…

Day 1 - Buenos Aires
Fly to Buenos Aires and transfer to the Art Hotel. Free time to enjoy the city.

Fly to Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego. Nestled at the foot of the Andes, the world’s southernmost town is dwarfed by the rugged peaks of the Five Brothers overlooking the Beagle Channel. Here you will stay overnight and have time to relax and explore the town and national park, before boarding your ship.

Famous for its potentially high seas and rolling winds, cross the Drake Passage while enjoying informative talks by the onboard experts on the region and its wildlife. On day 4 expect to see your fi rst icebergs in the distance.
Days 6-10 - Explore Antarctica
You may make as many as three Zodiac landings per day. These highly robust infl atable crafts will enable you to set foot on the islands and peninsula itself, allowing closer inspection of the majestic scenery and fascinating wildlife. Ski across the terrain or bravely take a dip in the Arctic waters…the opportunities to experience and enjoy are endless.
Days 11-13 - Drake Passage
With memories that will last a lifetime, return across the Drake Passage. Now you will understand what lured early explorers to this harsh, remote, but hauntingly beautiful land.
Day 15 - Buenos Aires
Enjoy a night in Buenos Aires before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
