Studying a Spanish and Portuguese degree piqued Aine’s interest in South America and since then it has grown into a passion. She has just finished a year long, round the world trip, during which she spent four months travelling around S. America.

Interests

Reading, cooking foreign food, snorkelling, scuba diving, sky diving, mountain biking, socialising, new experiences, being in the sun, swimming in the sea, dancing on a beach and wildlife, especially the elusive Capybura.

Specialised knowledge

Trekking the Inca trail, mining in Bolivia! Snorkelling down the Rio de Prata, dancing and drinking caparinhas in Salvador and getting lost in a Paraguayan ‘favela’.

Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina.
