Mansion Dandi Royal

This is the perfect place to stay for those wanting to experience the vibrant ambiance of Tango whilst staying in Buenos Aires. The hotel is located in the famous San Telmo district of downtown Buenos Aires where tango performances can still be seen on a regular basis on the cobbled streets. Each guestroom has been individually furnished portraying tango scenes and original objects d'art. The hotel has its own tango school.

Our Opinion: It's like stepping back in time - fantastic!

Albatross

Situated in the heart of the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia, this hotel enjoys views of the Beagle Channel and the snow topped Andes as it is located on the last street running alongside the waters edge. Although the guest rooms do not have views over the channel, they are spacious with private bathrooms and well equipped. The restaurant and bar have wonderful positioning looking out over the harbour.

Our Opinion: A good budget option in Ushuaia.

Cumbres Del Martial

This fantastic hotel is situated near the Martial Glacier and has stunning views across Ushuaia. The lodge started out as tea rooms with some deluxe accommodation, and recently the Argentine owner has built four new cabins. The six standard rooms are simply and stylishly decorated, whilst the cabins are individual glass fronted with staggering views. The bedroom area is on the mezzanine level, with jacuzzi.

Our Opinion: A charming place to stay with excellent views.

Hotel Kosten Aike

This hotel is one block back from the main street in Calafate. Although the name of the hotel means “windy place” in the original indigenous language the hotel has a supremely cozy feel to it. All rooms are spacious, comfortable and well decorated whilst the bar area has an open fire. Tucked away in the top floor is a jacuzzi and sauna. All the rooms have en suite facilities and are heated and the hotel is decorated with original artwork throughout.

Our Opinion: This hotel comes highly recommended.

Los Notros

Los Notros is the only hotel located in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier, which you can see from your terrace, your bedroom or the comfort of your jacuzzi! This comfortable hotel is built in a woodern chalet style and set within the national park. Artistically decorated with stone, driftwood and natural fabrics, it's perfectly in keeping with its surroundings. This is a very special place to stay with fabulous views.

Our Opinion: One of the best hotels in the area, with first class service.

Hosteria Lago Grey

This lovely hotel is set on the shores of Lago Grey with spectuacular views of the Grey glacier, the Torre Massif and the iceburgs that graciously float in the lake. Guestrooms are clean, simple, all with en-suite bathrooms. The service here is friendly and efficient. The hotel has a boat, which operates twice a day taking you tight up to the Grey glacier. Trips to the other side of the lake can also be arranged.

Our Opinion: A popular choice with friendly staff.

Explora - Atacama

This is a stunning hotel located just outside the small town of San Pedro de Atacama. The architecture has been carefully designed so that it fits perfectly into its simple and rustic surroundings. There are four swimming pools, an excellent restaurant, a large and homely living area and cosy bar. All rooms have an en-suite jacuzzi. Guests stay on an all inclusive basis.

Our Opinion: A truly fabulous place, highly recommended.

Providencia Hotel

This pleasant modern hotel is situated in the middle of the fashionable area of Providencia in Santiago, well located for going out to popular nearby bars and restaurants in the evening. Comfortable and well-equipped guestrooms feature air-conditioning, TV, safety box and mini-bar. There is also a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and 24-hour room service available.

Our Opinion: A popular choice, in a good location.

Ritz Carlton Hotel

This luxury hotel is situated in the heart of the prestigious area of El Golf. The hotel has 205 rooms on 14 floors, and each is nicely furnished. Just 30 minutes from Santiago’s International airport and within walking distance of exclusive boutiques and close restaurants.
