Yacutinga Lodge
This environmentally friendly lodge is located in the heart of the Argentine rainforest, surrounded by the Iquzau National Park. Here you can enjoy the floating trips, hiking tours and birdwatching. Accommodation consists of seperate sleeping areas called 'Butterflies', spread through the forest. Each suite has private facilities with 24-hour warm water. The main building leads to a botanical garden.

The House of Jasmines
An attractive lodge in Argentina's northwest, the House of Jasmines is owned by the American actor Robert Duvall. The 120-year-old, 300-acre ranch sits in the shadows of the Andes. On foot or horseback, guests are free to roam the romantic grounds which are overrun with aromatic roses, orchiods and jasmine. All rooms are in the abode casitas with pale calming decor with private bathroom.

Esturion Hotel
The Esturion Hotel is located close to the city centre and a short drive from Iguazu Falls. It is modern in style and all rooms are air-conditioned and fully equipped with modern amenities. The hotel has a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and a walkway taking in the native plants and flowers.

Hotel Solar de la Plaza
Located in the centre of Salta this is a traditional, colonial-style hotel. The rooms are all well decorated and have en suite bathrooms as well as being fully equipped with TV, Mini Bar and Internet access. Some of the higher ones have a view over the square opposite. The interior is strewn with creative local handicrafts made from wood and alpaca. Its restaurant offers a good range of local and international cuisine. There is a small pool on the roof and the terrace has views of the surrounding hills.
Our Opinion: This hotel is the ideal place to spend a few luxurious days in the city.

Hostal El Cortijo
Located on the outskirts of Cachi, and within walking distance of the main square, this is a delightful, simple place to stay.
The hostal is an old house belonging to the Bergesi family, which has been renovated and decortated with antiques and a private collection of Cuzqueno ‘saced’ art. Each of the 15 comfortable rooms, within the white adobe house, has a distinctive décor. Some of the rooms are quite small and not all have outside windows but face onto the balcony in the courtyard. There is no English spoken her but the staff make great efforts to communicate with you.
Our Opinion: Oozing with character and wonderfully friendly.

Sheraton International Iguazu Resort
This is a big block hotel with little character but superbly situated overlooking the Iguazu Falls. All the rooms have a view over the falls and all the facilities you would expect from a Sheraton hotel. The hotel is set in nice gardens and the walkways around the falls are accessible from its grounds.

New for 2008, this stunning lodge is immersed in the Parana Rainforest. La Aldea de la Selva Lodge offers a unique luxury rainforest experience which is ideally located for lots of activities centred around the spectacular falls. Each room comes with a private balcony and personal hammock overlooking the rainforest.

Nevada Hotel
This very centrally located hotel has newly refurbished rooms all with private bathroom. It is just one block from the beautiful Lake Nahuel Huapi and its surrounding mountains and is located very conveniently for all the attractions of Bariloche, with its many restaurants and chocolate shop. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and there is a restaurant and a nice bar, which is open 24 hours.

La Posada Hosteria
This luxurious hotel is situated just 2kms from the centre of Villa La Angostura set on the shores of the beautiful Lake Nahuel Huapi. La Posada Hosteria is just metres from the mouth of the River Correntoso, which is ideal for fly casting, this area is well known for its excellent fishing. A beautiful place to stay and relax; there is a restaurant and bar, stunning gardens and a private pier on the lake.

Llao Llao Hotel
With a multi colour view, the green grass, blue lake and white mountains, this hotel is certainly the most famous hotel in the Argentine Lake District. It is located 22 kms from Bariloche, between Lakes Nahuel Huapi and Moreano, set in glorious countryside surrounded by mounts Lopez, Capilla and the majestic Tronador. The hotel has everything you could want, from its own marina to a golf course and several restaurants.
Our Opinion: It is the ideal place to relax for a few days in luxury.

Hotel Tunquelen
Located on the Llao-Llao Peninsula, 24.5 km away from the center of San Carlos de Bariloche, on the shores of the Nuapi Lake this is best described as a small elegant country hotel. All 32 rooms and 8 apartments have en suite bathrooms, TV, telephone and heating. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, good facilities, wonderful views and beautiful gardens. There is also a restaurant, piano bar, heated pool and access to golf and tennis.

Rincon Chico Ranch
This eco-ranch belongs to the fourth generation of two families who were the first to settle in the Peninsula Valdes. It has a historical farmhouse and gracefully combines cattle and sheep with the wildlife of the peninsula. Located 165ms from Puerto Madryn, it has eight comfortable double rooms with private bathroom, a cosy living room and family dining room is a popular choice.

Albatross
Situated in the heart of the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia, this hotel enjoys views of the Beagle Channel and the snow topped Andes as it is located on the last street running alongside the waters edge. Although the guest rooms do not have views over the channel, they are spacious with private bathrooms and well equipped. The restaurant and bar have wonderful positioning looking out over the harbour.
Our Opinion: A good budget option in Ushuaia.

Cumbres Del Martial
This fantastic hotel is situated near the Martial Glacier and has stunning views across Ushuaia. The lodge started out as tea rooms with some deluxe accommodation, and recently the Argentine owner has built four new cabins. The six standard rooms are simply and stylishly decorated, whilst the cabins are individual glass fronted with staggering views. The bedroom area is on the mezzanine level, with jacuzzi.

Los Notros
Los Notros is the only hotel located in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier, which you can see from your terrace, your bedroom or the comfort of your jacuzzi! This comfortable hotel is built in a woodern chalet style and set within the national park. Artistically decorated with stone, driftwood and natural fabrics, it's perfectly in keeping with its surroundings. This is a very special place to stay with fabulous views.

This modern hotel is located in Buenos Aires City center and a couple of blocks away from Santa Fe and Callao shopping district. There are 40 rooms all are small in size and are in good condition. All rooms are decorated in a minimalistic style, with whites and creams coloured decor. There is a restaurant situated on the ground floor it runs along side the hotels pool, also situated under a big crystal dome which filters lots of natural light at daytime.

This is the perfect place to stay for those wanting to experience the vibrant ambiance of Tango whilst staying in Buenos Aires. The hotel is located in the famous San Telmo district of downtown Buenos Aires where tango performances can still be seen on a regular basis on the cobbled streets. About 2 hours from Buenos Aires, this lovely family run ranch has nine spacious bedrooms with high ceilings, large windows and period furniture throughout. Still a working ranch, you can learn about the Gaucho culture during your stay here. The parrilla (barbeque) served outside in the shade of the trees will be one of the highlights of your stay. You can enjoy the everyday working of the farm.

Estancia Dos Talas
This luxurious estancia is set in 1500 hectares, 60 of which are taken up by a beautiful park filled with local trees and flowers as well as European sculptures. It was built in 1893 by the De Elizalde family, who still live there today, six generations on. There is plenty to keep you occupied here with riding, cycling and walking opportunities as well as a good sized swimming pool. The owners take great pride in their cooking and provide fantastic ‘asados’ (barbeques) as well as delicious pies and pastries.
