BRAZIL FAMILY ADVENTURE

This is a great family adventure holiday with exciting opportunities to visit the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro with its famous sites of Copacabana beach and Christ the Redeemer Statue, the Amazonian Jungle, staying in a floating cabins and activities into the Amazon to visit the flooded forest and see an abundance of birds, monkeys, black caiman and other wildlife. You will also visit the vibrant colonial city of Salvador on the coast, steeped in history, music and dance, deeply routed in African-Brazilian culture.
And what better way to end your holiday on a beach set in 155,000 square miles of tropical surroundings, at Praia do Fote Eco Resort which has all the facilities you would expect from an exclusive hotel. There are 4 pools to relax in as well as good restaurants and live music. Shared Favela Tour.
The Favela Tour gives you the opportunity to experience the reality of many people’s lives in Rio, by using local guides to introduce you to the other side of Rio that you would not normally see. It aims to change the general idea that favelas are simply no-go areas dominated by criminals and instead educate you so that you have a greater understanding of Brazilian society. Most Samba Schools participating in the Carnival parade come from favelas, which demonstrates how rich in Brazilian culture they are and what the favelas have to offer.

Shared Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Tour
Days 4-7 - Manaus
Fly to Manaus and transfer to Tefe to Uacari Lodge. Activities include canoe and boat excursions with local guides in river channels and lakes, and walking trails in the rainforest. During your stay you will see the flooded forest, an abundance of birds, monkeys, black caiman and other wildlife.
The Uacari is a Sustainable Tourism Ecolodge, which provides educational and economical support to several small communities in the surrounding area. Most employees are Caboclos or local natives who are learning a specific trade. Services offered at the Uakari Jungle Lodge are designed to allow the Caboclos to improve their lives while offering visitors a more natural environment. The Lodge was awarded Ecotourism Award in 2003 Conde Naste Magazine.
Day 9 - Salvador

Days 10-13 - Praia do Forte
Transfer to Praia do Forte Eco Resort. Spend the next few days at your leisure.
Praia do Forte Eco Resort was the first eco hotel in Brazil, constructed in 1980 and was awarded the Best Resort in Brazil for environmental merit in 2005. The hotel offers special activities for children, which focus on environmental protection and curious facts about the environment. In addition, a variety of activities and tours are offered daily such as ecological tours, arts workshops, integration with nature, games, theatre and educational chats.
