This hotel is brimming with character. Situated in a beautiful colonial building opposite the main church, the Igreja da Marquesa, it is ideally situated close to the harbour, but away from the main strip of Paraty. all rooms have high ceilings, dark wood and colonial style furniture. This is a lovely, simple place to stay. The spacious courtyard now houses a refreshing pool with lots of plants and shade.

The Pousada Do Canto is located five minutes walk from the centre of village Abraao, on Ilha Grande, right on the beach of Praia do Canto. With beautiful views of the sea, it is a characterful yet simple place to stay with a swimming pool and bar. Two of the eleven apartments have a view of the sea and a verandah.
