The famous Chilean architect, Jorge Elton, designed the Antumalal back in 1945 - it was built as a tribute to Bauhaus architecture: modern form and function completely integrated with its surroundings. Navimag Ferries
Along the dismembered geography of Patagonia, between Puerto Montt and Puerto Natales, there are channels of fjords that were formed as a result of the receding continental ice. The ferry 'Magallanes' travels almost the entire length of Patagonia, taking you through its channels and into the fjords. You may see dolphins, cormorants, petrels, seals and whales on your 4-day journey.

Hotel O'Tai
This charming friendly Polynesian style hotel is located in the small village of Hanga Roa. There are comfortable en-suite rooms with a pleasant seating area outside each one. The small dining room serves a hearty breakfast and there is also a bar. As the hotel is situated right in the village, it is very convenient for other bars and restaurants and is only 10-15 minutes walk to Moai of Ahu Tahai.

Hotel Iorana
This hotel is the best, by international standards, on the island. There are 52 rooms all with private bathrooms, a restaurant, with a good selection of local and European cuisine and a dining room that has enormous glass windows overlooking the ocean. There are two swimming pools, one offers great views of the ocean and the other is a small salt water pool close to the oceans edge. You can hire cars, jeeps and horses for the day.

Hanga Roa Hotel
This was the first hotel to be built on the island and is Chilean owned, (so no profits go to the Island). The hotel has a swimming pool and gardens and is ideally situated on the coast providing fantastic views of the Ocean. Explora - Rapa Nui
Explora en Rapa Nui is an excellent base for exploring this attractive and mysterious island which is home to a culture whose origins and evolution remain unexplained. Volcanic rock, native to the island and always used by the island’s inhabitants in construction, and wood from the mainland, are the principal materials that have been used to build the hotel. This lovely hotel is set on the shores of Lago Grey with spectuacular views of the Grey glacier, the Torre Massif and the iceburgs that graciously float in the lake. This hotel is one block back from the main street in Calafate. Although the name of the hotel means “windy place” in the original indigenous language the hotel has a supremely cozy feel to it. All rooms are spacious, comfortable and well decorated whilst the bar area has an open fire. Tucked away in the top floor is a jacuzzi and sauna. All the rooms have en suite facilities and are heated and the hotel is decorated with original artwork throughout.
