Located on the banks of the Canaima lagoon in the national park, this lodge has twelve rooms with private bathrooms, showers, hot water and air conditioning. Caura Lodge
The Caura Lodge can be found on the banks of the River Caura about 250 kilometres south west of Cuidad Bolivar. There are six double rooms complete with ceiling fans, mosquito nets and en-suite bathrooms. A basic but comfortable lodge, it is an ideal location for birdwatching and exploring the nearby trails. Excursions are included in the package, which will be discussed with you on arrival.

Situated in the historic centre close to plaza Bolivar and just 100 meters from the river, this hotel was newly renovated in August 2005. There are 15 rooms all equipped with AC and private bathrooms, a roof terrace offering a view of the Rio Orinoco, a small swimming pool and a restaurant.

Situated in the 'Llamos' and excellent for wildlife, this cattle ranch has comfortable air conditioned cabanas in the grounds. Only twenty minutes from Pt. Ayacucho, following the Orinoco River, set in between the two rapids of Ature and Maipure you will find Orinoquia Lodge. Built following the typical native pattern , it fits perfectly into its surroundings. Offering a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere, with only five rooms, they are all equipped with private bath and mosquito nets. The lounge, which is the spacious 'Churuata' is also a restaurant.

Avila Hotel
This lovely hotel is set in beautiful gardens in a quiet residential suburb of Caracas. Built by Nelson Rockefeller in 1942, the hotel is a quiet oasis located about 15 minutes from downtown on the flanks of Mount Avila. The lush grounds and flowering gardens are a welcome change from the cold concrete and glass that characterize most of Caracas. The hotel is showing its age but still retains a certain dignity and charm, something that is a scarce commodity in Caracas hotels. Most of the rooms are comfortable and spacious, with high ceilings, new carpeting, and rattan furnishings, although most do not have air-conditioning.

La Cigala is an ideal place to relax and enjoy Gran Roques Island. It is situated in the main street making it near to both the beach and the plaza central, a favoured meeting place for local people. The Posada Turpial is a beautiful colonial-style house, draped with bougainvillea and enclosing small gardens and courtyards hung with local art. It has 11 cosy guestrooms each tastefully decorated with local textiles, fixtures and art and a restaurant that overlooks the courtyard. It is located on a quiet side street in the heart of the colonial port village, just blocks from the sea and a short walk to the magnificent Playa Grande.

Posada Kanosta is located in Morrocoy National Park right across from El Burro beach. It has only four rooms each decorated in a particular style intended to agree with the surroundings of the place, respecting strictly its ecology. There is a pretty courtyard where you can either sit on the sofa, and enjoy one of the many books that they have, or just rest in the hammocks listening the waves of the sea.

Tortuga Lodge is a small hotel located on a 30km beach in the Tacarigua National Park. The national park is famous for its mangles, the red ibis (and more than 150 species of birds) and three different species of marine turtles. The hotel has 28 rooms, a restaurant and a bar and it can only be reached by small boats crossing the lagoon.
