Panama is often overlooked in favour of it’s popular neighbour, Costa Rica. However, this is a country that has a fascinating history of its own, great wildlife, epic scenery and it’s a wonderful place for a touch of snorkelling. This itinerary Visits the Cosmopolitan City of Panama before heading to the Highlands to enjoy time in the cozy Mountain Town of Boquete. Stay then at Bocas del Toro Archipelago for 2 nights on the Caribbean Side of the Country. Last night will be in Panama City. The following low season special is a from price available up to the end of November although price of flights does increase during peak season months.
DAY ONE
Fly with Iberia Airlines from Heathrow (via Madrid) to Panama City. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred you to your hotel in Panama City for the next 2 first nights. Overnight in the Hotel Country Inn Dorado.
DAY TWO (B)
Transfer to Flamenco Marina where you will visit the canal museum before boarding your vessel for a partial canal transit that takes you through the famous lockgates and on to Lake Gatun, following which you will be returned to your hotel in Panama City. Overnight in the Hotel Country Inn Dorado.
DAY THREE (B)
Transfer to the Albrook Domestic Airport for your flight to David, located in the Chiriqui Province boarding Costa Rica. Upon your arrival you will be met by a representative and be transferred to Boquete. This is approximately a 45 minute transfer. Check into your hotel. Hotel Finca Lerida.
DAYS FOUR & FIVE (B)
Enjoy exploring the highlands. There are a variety of hiking trails, white water rafting, coffee tours, canopy tours and much more. Or drive to the other side of Baru Volcano to Cerro Punta Town where you can visit the pre-Columbian ruins at Sitio Barriles, Finca Dracula home to 2000 orchid species. Overnight at Hotel Finca Lerida.
DAY SIX (B)
Today in the morning you will be transferred to David Domestic Airport for your flight to Bocas del Toro. Upon you arrival you will be transferred to your hotel located in Isla Colon. Hotel Bahia.
DAY SEVEN (FB)
Free day or enjoy an optional tour. During your stay you can go for the following activities upon request:
- Visit some of the most exotic and isolated virgin beaches located in the different Islands of the Archipelago.
- Snorkelling at the Coral Reefs of the bay to see lots different kind of corals, tropical fishes and starfishes.
- Boat rides through the Islands visiting Indian Communities.
- Hiking in the rainforest to see the flora and fauna.
- Motorized Canoe River Trips to search the slots and the white face monkeys.
- Boat tours to meet dolphins in their natural living area.
- Visiting Bocas town to buy some handcraft and admire its afro Caribbean colonial architecture style.

DAY EIGHT (B)
Transfer to Bocas del Toro Domestic Airport to take your flight back to Panama City. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Panama City - Country Inn Dorado.
DAY NINE (B)
Transfer to the international airport to join the overnight Iberia flight back to the UK (via Madrid).
