656 SQUADRON ASSOCIATION

In May 2000, Magic of the Orient arranged a tour to Malaysia for fifteen of our members. The tour was very well planned and was a huge success, meeting all of our requirements to combine a holiday for the families of members and battlefield tours for those so inclined. On the strength of that success, Magic of the Orient was asked to plan and organise a more complicated tour to Malaysia for forty of our members in 2006. Once again, they excelled.

Malaysia

Magic of the Orient dealt with all the special needs of a largely geriatric party with consideration and tact. The majority of the party were retirees, a number of them being veterans of WWII. This tour was even better than the previous tour, even though it was far more complex in its arrangements. The tour was based on three centres with coach and courier/guides organising our transportation and international border crossings with great professionalism. Once again, the combination of family holiday and battlefield tour worked well and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their tour. The Association has now appointed Magic of the Orient as official travel agent to the Association and we are now in the throes of planning a third tour to the Far East, this time to Borneo. We would heartily recommend Magic of the Orient to anyone, from lone tourist to large groups, to economically and professionally organise their travel to the Far East.
