If you thought that it was all about monkeys in Borneo then you are wrong! Borneo hosts some of the most amazing diving in the world! This itinerary features Sipadan, a small oceanic island off the eastern shore of Borneo which is completely encircled by sheer drop-offs and walls. At Sipadan there is a high chance of seeing turtles as well as barracudas, travelleys, humphead parrotfish, sharks and much more.

Days 2-3 - Kota Kinabalu
Arrive KL. Aircraft change. Fly to Kota Kinabalu with Malaysia Airlines. Spend two nights relaxing.

This morning you will transfer to the Dive Resort where you will spend the next six days.
A few minutes by boat from Sipadan lies Sipadan-Kapalai Dive Resort, sitting on stilts on the shallow sandbanks of the Ligitan Reefs.
Diving around Kapalai is exceedingly easy and shallow but quiet spectacular. The sandy bottom and the spare coral heads host an amazing array of small, often yet-to-be-classified, colourful subjects, making the diving here an unforgettable experience. The resort offers three dives a day plus, if requested, day trips at Sipadan.

After 6 nights on the island, transfer back to the mainland and fly back to Kota Kinabalu and finish in style with a transfer to the Shangri-La's 5* Rasa Ria Resort
