Like Phnom Penh, Siem Reap has a relaxed character and a local feel, but on a much smaller scale. The main attraction is the vast array of temples, only a short distance away, but there are other sights including the floating fishing village on Tonle Sap Lake and the European-funded craft school, Les Artisans D'Angkor-Chantier Ecole.
