YUNNAN
With lush jungles bordering Laos and Vietnam in the South and ice-capped mountains bordering Tibet and Myanmar to the Northwest, Yunnan is China's 6th largest province. The Mekong and Yangtze Rivers flow through the province to form deep canyons leaving a rich and fertile landscape. Nearly half of all China's animal and plant species are to be found in Yunnan and the province is home to 26 different ethnic groups.
