Bali is one of the best known holiday islands in the world: Hindu beliefs, customs, and colourful festivals dominate the daily life and add magic to the beauty of its landscape – majestic volcanoes and ancient rice terraces.

In spite of its popularity the 'magic' is still there and in fact we feel that the island is very under-estimated. Attracted mainly by its beaches, which are not the best, many miss the essence of this beautiful island with its deep-rooted religious traditions and so we particularly recommend a visit to the countryside.
