THREE CITY ADVENTURE
Featuring: Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Return
Days 1 to 5 - Tokyo
From Narita Airport you will take the Airport Limousine Bus to Shinjuku station from where your hotel is a short walk or taxi ride away. The journey takes about 90 minutes depending on traffic and you will be able to enjoy some great cityscapes on the way!
Day 2
This morning you will take a group tour of Tokyo by coach. The tour includes a visit to Tokyo Tower for a panoramic view of the metropolis as well as time at the historic Senso-ji temple in Asakusa and a visit to the Imperial Palace Plaza for the essential Tokyo photo opportunity. The tour ends with a stop at the Tasaki Pearl Gallery where you will have a chance to view the process of pearl cultivation and even treat yourself to a purchase!
Day 3
Today you will be making a full day excursion to Mt Fuji and the Hakone National Park. Your day will get underway with the drive to the 5th Station of Mt. Fuji from where, weather permitting, you will be able to take in the spectacular views before moving to Hakone, where you will board a cruise boat and travel across Lake Ashi to Hakone-en Garden. From the garden, you will take the ropeway up Mt. Komagatake for a spectacular panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and the valley below. Lunch is included. In the late afternoon you will begin the drive back to Tokyo arriving early evening. The tour drops off in the Ginza and Shinjuku from where you will make your way back to your hotel.

Days 6 to 8 - Kyoto
From Tokyo take the train to Kyoto (7 Day Rail Pass included). The pass entitles you to unlimited travel on any trains in the extensive Japan Railways (JR) network. This includes all of the famous Shinkansen 'Bullet' Trains (with the exception of the Nozomi Shinkansen).
Day 7
This morning you will join a coach tour for a busy day of sightseeing with the morning being spent in Kyoto followed by a visit to Nara after lunch. The day begins with a visit to Nijo Castle, the Kyoto residence of the Tokugawa era shoguns and perhaps most famous for its 'nightingale floorboards' which were designed to squeak when stood upon to alert the guards to the presence of intruders! You will follow this with perhaps Kyoto’s most famous sight, the Golden Pavilion, a gold-leaf covered structure that houses sacred relics of Buddha.
Days 9 to 10 - Hiroshima
From Kyoto you will be heading on down the eastern seaboard west to Hiroshima. Time at leisure.
Day 11 - Tokyo
From Hiroshima you will take a long, 900km journey back to Tokyo.
