Renaissance Kuala Lumpur
One hotel, made up of two unique wings: the New World Wing (4*) is more contempory in style with a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. The two wings share one of the largest free form swimming pools in Kuala Lumpur, fringed with tropical trees.

Pangkor Laut Resort
One island, one resort. The majority of the island is covered by rainforest, some of which is 120 million years old. The main accommodation is in one bay, and comprises well appointed 'villas' each with a balcony. The spectacular sea villas are individual units built on stilts over the sea.
Our opinion: A fabulous resort, we can't recommend it highly enough!

The Capitol Hotel
The Capitol Hotel is designed in a contemporary style and it is at the doorstep of the Bukit Bintang shopping belt. Only a stroll from some of the best fashionable shopping districts, it is a great budget option. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean and offer a variety of amenities.
Our Opinion: An excellent budget option in a great location.

Carcosa Seri Negara
Carcosa Seri Negara is situated in beautifully landscaped gardens just outside the city. It was built in traditional colonial style as a residence for the Governor of the Malay States and his honoured guests. The 13 suites are furnished in distinctive regency style with fine brocades, old etchings and Malaysian objects.
Our opinion: A really special place to experience style and grandeur.

The Ritz Carlton Hotel
The Ritz Carlton is Malaysia's first luxury boutique hotel with butler service for all rooms. It is located near Bintang Walk, Kuala Lumpur's upscale and trendy business and entertainment hub. Guest rooms are the largest in the city with marble bathrooms, floor to ceiling windows and 19th century artwork.
Our opinion: An elegant boutique property with excellent service.

Renaissance Malacca
Located 45 mins from airport in the centre of Malacca with views of the river. This 24-storey hotel is within walking distance to all major historical attractions influenced by Portuguese, Dutch and Straits-Born Chinese heritage.
Our Opinion: Probably the best place to stay in Malacca.

Eastern And Oriental Hotel
This famous hotel is set in the heart of historic Georgetown overlooking the Straits of Malacca. It was founded in 1885 by the famous Sarkies brothers (who also founded ‘Raffles’ in Singapore), and by 1927, the hotel was billed as ‘the premier hotel east of the Suez’. Beautifully furnished in a colonial style, the hotel is the perfect reminder of bygone days.
Our Opinion: An elegant, sophisticated hotel, highly recommended!

Shangri-la Golden Sands Resort
Lively first-class hotel with probably the most attractive swimming pool in Penang. There are plenty of organised activities and a wide choice of amenities. The early morning call to prayer at the adjacent mosque sometimes disturbs those in superior rooms (double-glazed).
Our Opinion: A fantastic beach hotel suitable for both the relaxing and adventurous guest.

Park Royal Penang
Located majestically on Batu Ferringhi beach, the Parkroyal Penang is a contemporary styled with excellent facilities. Popular with families as well as couples due to the large range of activities on offer, the hotel is also great value-for-money. Sea-facing rooms are well worth the upgrade as you can see the whole of the resort spread out in front of you.
Our Opinion: A popular choice with great facilities and a friendly atmosphere.

Located on the south-western coast of Langkawi, Casa del mar is within close proximity to Kuah Town and sits on Pantai Cenang Beach. All 29 rooms face the sea and have floor to ceiling sliding picture windows providing unhindered vistas of the beach, opening out onto your own private terrace. A perfect spot for admiring the view!

The Datai
The Datai, situated on the north-western tip of the pristine island of Langkawi, providees and idyllic natural retreat within the depths of a 550 million year old virgin rainforest. Set above a secluded cove, The Datai has its own white sand beach facing the peaceful Andaman Sea. Free-standingvillas crafted from local materials are scattered throughout the forest.
Our Opinion: A secluded resort and a steep climb from the beach, not suitable for the infirm.

Pelangi Beach Resort
The Pelangi Beach Resort is a colourful paradise full of friendly charm and gentle hospitality. Set right on the beach in the south-west of the island the resort built of wood in the style of a Malay village with 2-storey units scattered around the 30 acres of attractive tropical gardens. Superior or deluxe rooms guestrooms have just recently received a facelift and include a multitude of amenities.
Our Opinion: Great facilities and excellent value for money.

Tanjung Rhu Resort
Located on the northern tip of the island, the deluxe Tanjung Rhu Resort is one of our most popular hotels. Clients enjoy the spacious, tastefully decorated accommodation, together with excellent personal service and idyllic location. Amidst 1100 acres of lush tropical greenery and fringed by a mile long beach leading to the waters of the Andaman Sea.
Our Opinion: One of the best hotels in Malaysia, we recieve consistently excellent feedback about this resort.

Shangri-la's Rasa Sayang Resort And Spa
Due to re-open its doors in October 2006 after a huge RM100 million facelift, this is probably the most famous hotel in Penang. Almost an institution, the Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa is located on the eastern end of Batu Ferringhi beach. Combining luxury and elegance with a wide range of facilities including the new CHI spas.
Our Opinion: Pure luxury the Shangri-La way.

Strawberry Park
Strawberry Park Resort is located 6,000 feet above sea level in Cameron Highlands where the air is clear, cool and invigorating. Built in neo-Tudor style, the 140 roomy studios and apartments spread over 8 blocks. There is an indoor swimming pool (the only pool in the Cameron Highlands) and tennis courts. The hotel is away from developments in the area, and has good views of the surrounding hills.
Our Opinion: No luxury here and the rooms are a bit dated, but it is in a nice location with plenty of facilities.

The brand new Cameron Highlands Resort is situated in the largest hill resort in Malaysia. Located 200kms Kuala Lumpur and surrounded by breathtaking scenery, lush greenery and rolling hills, the boutique resort is the perfect place to relax.
Our opinion: With a colonial atmosphere, this is th emost luxurious option in the Cameron Highlands.

Mutiara Taman Negara Rainforest Resort
The resort is located in a 25-acre jungle sanctuary in Malaysia’s National Park, Pahang overlooking the Tembeling and Tahan Rivers. This peaceful eco-resort has 100 Malay-style chalets, bungalows and guesthouses built with natural timber. All the resort’s chalets are arranged overlooking either the river or forest and have a bedroom with an attached bathroom, air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, a bathroom with a hot and cold shower, and a veranda.
Our Opinion: A lovely and peaceful resort right in the jungle.

Set right on Telok Chempedak beach, just outside Kuantan on the east coast of Malaysia sits the Hyatt Regency Kuantan. A popular hotel, it enjoys a wide range of facilities in-house and a good selection of restaurants and bars close by. Guestrooms are spacious, superior rooms either face the garden or the sea.
Our Opinion: A great option for the beautiful Kuantan region offering a friendly and welcoming service.
