Featuring: Kuala Lumpur To Cameron Highlands, Cameron Highlands To Penang, Penang To Kota Bahru, Kota Bahru To Tanjong Jara, Tanjong Jara To Kuantan

The best way to see Malaysia for the independent traveller has to be by car so you can see what you want, at your own pace. Ask us for more details.

214kms/133 miles - roughly 4 hours driving time

Pick up your hire car and leave Kuala Lumpur heading north. Stop after a few miles at Batu caves. Your next stop is at the end of a steep winding road, Tanah Rata in the Cameron Highlands. Malaysia's premier hill resort was attractive to the colonial British because of its cooler temperatures. Explore the tea plantations, strawberry farms and nature trails.
