MEKHALA AND ANCIENT CAPITALS

Featuring: Grand Palace, Pitsanuloke, Sukhothai Ruins, Sukhothai Airport

Cruise on the 'River of Kings' before exploring the historic sites of Ayuthaya and Sukhothai.

Day 1 - Grand Palace

Board the Mekhala in the afternoon and cruise up-river with spectacular views of the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Dawn. Candlelight dinner served on board. Overnight in your cabin.

Day 2 - Pitsanuloke

Early morning call (optional) to visit the local temple. Breakfast on board as you cruise up the river. Visit Bang Pa-In the King's summer palace, Ayuthaya with its many ancient temples. Depart by road (approx 4Â½ hrs) to Pitsanuloke. Overnight at the Topland Hotel.

Day 3 - Sukhothai Ruins

Visit Wat Prasi Rattana Mahadhat temple before continuing to Sukhothai, The Sukhothai ruins have been declared an historical park. Afternoon visit Srisatchanalai historical park. Overnight at the Pailyn Hotel.

Day 4 - Sukhothai Airport

Transfer to Sukhothai Airport. Either fly north to Chiang Mai or south to Bangkok - you choose!
