Days 1-3 - Bangkok

Depart London Heathrow on Thai Airways to Bangkok.

Arrive Bangkok

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Bangkok.
2 nights at the Bel-Aire Princess Bangkok (Superior Room).

Today enjoy a half day Bangkok city and Temples tour with your own private guide.

Day 4 - Royal Way Cruise

You will be collected from your hotel to begin your Mekhala Cruise adventure:

You’ll commence your cruise up the Chao Phraya River from Bangkok, passing the magnificent Grand Palace and Temple of Dawn. At sunset you will stop at the temple of Wat Kai Tia. Here you will be served with a candle lit dinner on board.

Day 5 - Ayutthaya

After breakfast served on the boat, continue up the river to Bang-Pa-In where you disembark to look around the Summer Palace. Continue by long-tail boat to Ayuthaya. After lunch visit the ruins of this once glorious capital before continuing towards Uthai Thani via Angthong, by road. You’ll be passing paddy fields and villages. On the way visit the Reclining Buddha Image at Wat Khun Indra Pramol.

Day 6 - Sukhothai

After breakfast transfer to Kamphaeng Phet, known as ‘Diamond Wall’. Discover the ruins of the ancient city founded in a shaded teak wood forest. Drive to Sukhothai for lunch. Afterwards visit the World Cultural Heritage Sites of Sukhothai Historical Park and its compound. Also visit the Sangkhalok Museum, a private collection of the Ananda Gallery. Overnight at the Ananda Gallery (Standard room).

Days 7-8 - Chiang Mai

After breakfast continue your journey to Sri Satchanalai, a viceroy city of Sukhothai in the past. Visit more world cultural heritage sites including Sri Satchanalai Historical Park. Carry on via Koh Kah to Lampang for lunch in a local restaurant. Relax after lunch in a leisurely horse and carriage ride and visit Wat Phra Kaeo Don Tao, one of Thailands best examples of a Burmese-style temple.

Continue onto Lamphun for a visit to Wat Phrathat Hariphunchai. Your tour will end late afternoon and you will be transferred to your hotel in Chiang Mai.

Day 9 - Phuket

Chiang Mai - Phuket

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Phuket on Thai Airways.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your resort in Phuket.
1 night at the Chedi Phuket (Hillside Cottage).

Days 10-12 - Khao Sok National Park

Beach and Rainforest Safari Koh Sok

You will be picked up from your hotel in Phuket for the 3 day tour. Explore the majestic Phang Nga province, with glimpses of tropical rural life. Spend the afternoon on a deserted beach. Overnight at Khao Sok National Park in luxury safari tents.

See, touch and find out about the life of Thai elephants. After lunch, take a jungle river canoe trip down the Sok River.

Koh Sok - Krabi

This morning, you will get the chance to explore the jungle on foot, exploring the ecology of the rainforest with a great variety of exotic plants. In the afternoon it is time to return to Elephant Hills then onward transfer by air-conditioned van to your hotel. 4 nights at the Tubkaak (Superior Room).

Days 13-15 - Krabi

Days at leisure in and around Krabi.

Day 16 - Return Flight

Transfer to the airport for your flight to London Heathrow on Thai Airways changing aircraft in Bangkok.
